Hashtags work best for searching, reach, trends, and in general when you use them in the body of your content.

Did you know if you put a hashtag in your title of your post and use it around the site people can click it if uses around the social media site/services and create trending hashtags, posts, and search methods from clicking the hashtags # mostly around the forum 1 main/This? Try it out. Comment and put #trending in the comments and on some or 1 other posts comments so you don't spam and it will lead to this post because of the title # and views etc. Also because its new and whatever search filter you have equipped etc. Just like Twitters # system.
